| Memorial Services in Los Angeles for Legendary Louie Bellson Visitation and memorial services for NEA Jazz Master, drummer-composer Louis Paul Bellson were scheduled for Thursday, February 26, 2009 at the Bel Air Presbyterian Church in Los Angeles, California. Louie Bellson died February 14, 2009 from complications associated with Parkinson's Disease and an earlier hip injury. Louie frequently visited Jubilee Christian Center and, on occasion, appeared as a special musical guest artist. "We are grateful to have had one of the best in God's house, " says Pastor Dick Bernal.
