Warwickshire pub showcases top local bands

Sunday nights are no longer boring, with The Granville @ Barford announcing three more live music nights over the next few months. The award-winning dining pub will be playing host to 'Riff Raff' on Sunday 18 January, 'Out of the Blue' on Sunday 15 February and 'The Curious Things' on Sunday 29 March.

Riff Raff is an extremely talented local band, which plays at popular clubs and pubs throughout the county. With a huge local following, the band is renowned for belting out classic blues and rock ballads. Out of the Blue is another talented and experienced band playing sixties and seventies covers. The band has been together for six years and has played with many well known musicians. Consisting of four members with Harry on bass, Terry on drums, Eddie on lead guitar and backing vocals, and Soot as the front man. The band has played all over the UK as well as in France and Germany.

The Curious Things is a four-piece band featuring a wide range of music from the 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's through to the present day. The Band, which features Emma Cole on lead vocals, Andrew Higgins on guitar, Jim Steeley on drums & percussion and Ian Robinson on bass guitar, are enthusiastic with a passion for music.

Val Kersey, Proprietor of The Granville, stated "We're delighted to announce three more live music nights to showcase these talented local bands. Our music nights are a great opportunity for people to come along, soak up the atmosphere and hear these talented bands for free".

The Granville @ Barford is situated 1 mile from the M40 at junction 15 on the A429 sign-posted to Stow-on-the-Wold.
