Bruce Springsteen's "Greatest Hits"

New Jersey rocker Bruce Springsteen says recording a "Greatest Hits" album with his E Street Band has been a longtime goal. "This is something I've always wanted to do, " he wrote on his Web site. "Greatest Hits" will be sold exclusively in the United States at Wal-Mart stores starting Jan. 13, reported Tuesday.

Two weeks later, a new studio album, "Working on a Dream, " will hit U.S. store shelves. "Greatest Hits" will feature 12 hits including "Born to Run, " "Thunder Road, " "Glory Days" and "Born in the U.S.A." The two albums will available to fans just before Springsteen and the E Street Band hit the field Feb. 1 during Super Bowl XLIII in Tampa, Fla., Billboard noted.
