| Viva the band from Sydney at the Gold Coast  The Gold Coast in Queensland has miles of white sandy surf beaches, lush green hinterland rainforests, world-class golfing greens and famous theme parks. With a diverse range of accommodation from exclusive 5-star hotels to sunny beachside apartments and backpacker hostels. Most Jazz entertainment events at the Gold Coast are conducted by organization called the Gold Coast Jazz and Blues Club . This club been nurturing local and interstate Jazz musicians for the last 23 years . Since the 12th September 2008 the Gold Coast Jazz & Blues Club has been holding its functions at the Paradise Room at the Gold Coast Arts Centre.The Paradise Room is a beautifully appointed large room, has a restaurant and bars, a large stage, a dance floor, state of the art lighting, audio and excellent acoustics. To kick off the new year 2009 with great pizzazz at the Paradise Room, the Jazz club is engaging Viva The Band to perform on Friday the 16th January. Viva The Band is a popular band from Sydney and is known for it's performances of an eclectic repertoire of European and French music as well as the standard fare of Jazz, Swing, Show tunes and South American music.
