| Tenby gets the blues Now in its third year the 2008 Tenby Blues Festival in Pembrokeshire, south west Wales, will be taking place over the weekend of 14 – 16 November when the lovely seaside resort will be rocking to the sound of some great blues music. The main venue will be the De Valence Pavilion in Upper Frog Street where three keynote concerts on the Chevron stage will be held on Friday and Saturday evenings and Sunday lunchtime headlined by American blues stars Eugene 'Hideaway' Bridges and Sherman Robertson plus legendary slide guitarist Johnny Dickinson, respectively. Further down Upper Frog Street is the Rugby Club, home of the renowned FBM acoustic stage, where there will be a full programme of both lunchtime and evening concerts. Artists booked for this venue include Big Mamma's Door and Ted Crooks and the Blues Highway.
