Harmonica Wizard PT Gazell's 2008 China Tour

American harmonica master PT Gazell begins a two week tour of China in support of his latest CD, "Back to Back" on MissMax Records. Gazell's Chinese expedition begins as an honored guest at the Asian Pacific Harmonica Festival in Hangzhou. PT Gazell will not only be a featured performer at this international event, but will also give seminars and serve as a judge for competitions. The Nashville-based swing-master joins a renowned international collection of harmonica masters including players from Asia, Europe and North America.

After a four day engagement in Hangzhou, Gazell travels to Shanghai where he has engagements at various premier venues including, The Cotton Club, The House of Jazz and Blues, and the JZ Club on November 9th. Gazell will play with local musicians as well as giving a Master Class at the JZ School in Shanghai on November 16th.

Gazell will also be a featured guest on the Shanghai-based Internationally Broadcast Television show, "More Than Jazz." Gazell will return to the US on November 20, 2008.

PT Gazell is a world-renowned master of the half-valved diatonic harmonica. He has employed his distinctive style and approach to the instrument on scores of recordings including his own solo CD's, "Back to Back, " "Swinin' Easy, Hittin' Hard, " and "Pace Yourself."
