| Cotton Soeterboek Band Signs Distribution Deal The Cotton Soeterboek Band has recently signed an exclusive European distribution deal with NL Distribution for the bands new release "Twisted" on Caf Fine Records. On this partnership, Robert Soeterboek comments, "The Cotton Soeterboek Band is very happy to announce that we have become a part of the NL Distribution family. It is a mutually beneficial relationship and it will make it much easier for people to get "Twisted" through out Europe." The band recorded the album in Los Angeles with producer Robert Selvaggio (Creed, Puddle of Mudd, Jewel). Mastering was handled by Rodney Mills (Lynyrd Skynyrd, Allman Brothers). The album really shines due to sharp songwriting and the band's ear for strong riffs and chorus melodies. Not to mention Robert Soeterboek's (Ayeron, Wicked Sensation) appropriate vocal swagger and the gritty muscular guitar work of Alan Cotton. On "Twisted", the band offers a tough, streamlined fusion of American and British hard rock, that combined with Robert Selvaggio's clean production, sounds utterly modern yet timeless. All of the parts blend into powerful distinctive sound to create a unique hybrid that recalls the past without being indebted to it. The Cotton Soeterboek Band's first full length album, "Twisted", was officially released on August 12th in the United States and August 14 in Europe. write your comments about the article :: © 2008 Jazz News :: home page |
