| 2008 Catalina Island Blues Festival On Friday September 26th, Legendary Blues - Rock Artist Roger Connelly along with his band The Blues Merchants will be performing on Catalina Island just off the coast of Long Beach, California. The performance is part of the "Blues Pub Crawl" during the 2008 Catalina Island Blues Festival which will feature Buddy Guy and Johnny Lang on Saturday evening. Roger will also be joined by special guest Laurie Morvan. The show starts at 10:00pm at "The Locker Room" located at 124 Sumner ave in Avalon. Roger will also be appearing Sunday September 28th as a special guest at The Descanso Beach Club on the main stage at 1:00pm located at 1 Descanso Way in the City of Avalon.
