Donohoe: "Songs of the Saints"

With choir, bouzouki, turntable, and an incredible assortment of talented instrumentalists, "Songs of the Saints" is a remarkable album. The music takes a personal look at each saint, creates vivid imagery, and expresses one artistic vision of the chosen. The music is a mix of styles. There are hints of jazz, world, electronica, classical, and even some new age sounds. This album is the second release from the artist Donohoe who first released "Shi Jing: Ancient Book of Songs" in 2006.

The artist Donohoe (Colin O'Donohoe) began his solo career after spending two years as the Executive/Artistic director for New Moon Orchestra in Pittsburgh PA. You may see him in concert at www.youtube.com/newmoonorchestra.

He has since travelled the United States (currently in Kansas) performing and recording his unique music. The albums have sales throughout the world.
Churches in the United States have embraced the album and become strong supporters of the music. It is becoming an underground phenomenon, set to spill over into the mainstream audience.
