Vernon Neilly On DVD In Movie "Walk Hard"

Award Winning guitarist Vernon Neilly can now be seen in your living room, on your computer, and anywhere that you might have access to a DVD player, with the release of "Walk Hard, The Dewey Cox Story". Neilly, who has appeared in two other major motion pictures, "Along Came Polly" and "Starsky and Hutch", plays along side Saturday Night Live veterans John C. Reilly, and Tim Meadows as part of the "Bobby Shad" band in this hilarious comedy.

The film was directed and co-written by veteran film director Jake Kasde and the film was nominated for two Golden Globe Awards. Vernon can also be seen in reruns on the small screen, as he has also participated in episodes of "One On One", and "Girlfriends".

Vernon has just released his new album "A Tribute To Stevie Wonder" on his Los Angeles based independent label Boosweet Records (www.boosweet.com ). The new radio single "I Was Made To Love You" recently premiered as a feedback track on Allen Kepler's internationally syndicated weekly radio show, the Smooth Jazz Top 20 Countdown (www.smoothjazznetwork.com ).

The track was also featured on the morning show Friday at the new smooth jazz station in Denver K-High 101.9. Veteran smooth jazz air personality Ken Cortes loves the single and says this song, "has been revitalized thanks to Vernon Neilly's guitar. He and U-Nam's fingers virtually fly across the frets, giving the listener both an instantly recognizable hit, and an exciting upgrade to an already upbeat tune".

"A Tribute To Stevie Wonder" is currently available for purchase at the Boosweet Records store (www.boosweet.com ), at a special pre-sale price of $5.99 until August 30, 2008 which also automatically puts the purchaser in a drawing to win one of Vernon's guitars, signed by Vernon and other artists on the project.

The album is also available elsewhere at regular pricing, and not part of the guitar giveaway.

This Friday August 1, 2008 Vernon and his label Boosweet Records will be represented at the EURweb Media Expo(Electronic Urban Radio)event to be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center, West Hall room 515A from 11am - 6pm. Attendees will be able to meet and greet Vernon in person, and get the latest information on his personal and company projects than are in the works, such as the launching of his new independent music portal "Boosweet Indie" designed to give record deal opportunities to up and coming, hardworking independent artists of all genres of music internationally.
