Eric Roberts Live at Snowmass Mountain Masterpieces Arts Fair

Guitarist Eric Roberts will be appearing live at the Snowmass Mountain Masterpieces Arts Fair to be held in Snowmass Village, Colorado, August 2, 2008 from 11:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. and August 3, 2008 from 10:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. He will be performing a mixture of his original "jazzy, non-commercial new age" compositions from his debut CD, "In A Silent Place, " as well as Jazz, Smooth Jazz, Brazilian, Classical and Nuevo flamenco tunes.

A guitarist since the age of 13, Roberts has traveled far - from Connecticut and New York to a small apartment in Geneva, Switzerland, and finally to Denver, Colorado - to develop the unique global sound mixed with tremendous technical precision that permeates his debut CD, "IN A SILENT PLACE" featuring world renowned cellist David Darling. Counting among his personal influences Andres Segovia, Ralph Towner, Paul Winter, David Darling and the music of Brazil, Roberts, a self-proclaimed troubadour, writes music with a global goal of healing the soul and reaching out to people's hearts to spread peace and love.

Don Kimenker, founder of earBuzz.com, states, "Eric Roberts plays guitar with a sincerity and emotive technique that rivals the finest players we've heard." Chris Specter of the 'Midwest Record Recap' calls him "simply a great player that knows how to craft a very special audio escape for overburdened ears." With such a diverse offering of songs, the album presents a plethora of sounds and emotions to the listener yet leaves ample room for personal interpretation.
