3rd Annual Hippiefest comes to New York’s North Fork Theater o

Break out your tie-dye shirts! On July 31, Hippiefest stops at the North Fork Theater in Westbury, NY. The concert tour, now in its 3rd year, celebrates the music and bands of rock's most important decade; an age that would shape the musical landscape for years to come. Fans will be treated to a trip back in time with musical pioneers Jack Bruce Of Cream, Eric Burdon & The Animals, The Turtles Featuring Flo & Eddie, Melanie, Badfinger Featuring Joey Molland, and Jonathan Edwards. Each act will perform a set of their hits, but fans should expect some unique collaborations and guest spots that can only be heard at Hippiefest.

The tour has been praised as "A taste of Woodstock without the mud and bad acid" (Miami Herald) "guaranteed to get boomers misty-eyed enough to fog up their bifocals" (Newsday). The NY Post simply declared, "No shoes, no shirt, no problem."
