JVC Jazz Festival New York returns to Carnegie Hall and Zankel Hall

The 2008 JVC Jazz Festival New York, produced by Festival Network (FN), returns to Carnegie Hall and Zankel Hall for 11 nights of award-winning jazz, Bossa Nova, soul, neo-soul, Afropean, tango and more. Featuring some of the biggest and brightest stars on today's music scene, the JVC Jazz Festival New York builds upon 26 years of diverse music at the renowned Carnegie Hall. Taking a bow at Carnegie Hall are Jill Scott, Sergio Mendes, Zap Mama, João Gilberto, Herbie Hancock, Lionel Loueke Trio, Chris Botti, Al Green, Dianne Reeves and Mos Def Big Band with special guest Gil Scott-Heron. Zankel Hall hosts the Brad Mehldau Trio, Dick Hyman & Friends, Tierney Sutton Band and Richard Galliano Tangaria 4Tet.
