| JazzNorway in a Nutshell 2008 In recent years, Vestnorsk Jazzsenter (VNJS, Western Norway Jazz Center) has been inviting journalists, festival organizers/programmers, club owners and others to a week-long event, JazzNorway in a Nutshell. Intended to promote Norwegian music and, with a series of boat trips, the country's unparalleled natural beauty, the 2008 edition began in Bergen and slowly made its way to Stavanger, where the Mai Jazz festival was in full swing.
