| Carmen Lundy in Cleveland House of Jazz Entertainment presents legendary Jazz vocalist and composer Carmen Lundy in a rare and special performance for one night only at Cleveland's premier nightclub Scripts. The event is on March 28, 2008, Master of Ceremonies for the evening will be Cuyahoga County Commissioner, Peter Lawson Jones. Joining Ms. Lundy on stage is her all-star cast of musicians: Mark Soskin - keyboards; Kenny Davis - bass; Lage Lund - guitar, and Terri Lyne Carrington who was drummer for the "Arsenio Hall Show, " and drummer on the late night TV show "Vibe" hosted by Sinbad. In 1998, Carrington recorded along with Joni Mitchell and Stevie Wonder, Herbie Hancock's "Gershwin's World." Lundy has performed and recorded as a soloist with the Akron Symphony Orchestra and The Vallejo Symphony Orchestra. She has performed and recorded with such musicians as Walter Bishop Jr., Wynton Marsalis, Ray Barretto, Don Pullen, Kenny Barron, John Hicks, Ernie Watts, Mulgrew Miller, Billy Childs, Terri Lyne Carrington, Jimmy Scott, Kip Hanrahan, Courtney Pine, Marian McPartland, Regina Carter, and the late Kenny Kirkland. Her work has been critically acclaimed by The New York Times, The Village Voice, The Los Angeles Times, The Washington Post, as well as numerous foreign publications.
