| National Guitar Workshop 2008 Jazz Guest Artists The National Guitar Workshop has confirmed the John Scofield Trio and Kenny Burrell as guest artists for 2008. The John Scofield Trio will appear at the New Milford, CT campus as part of the 2008 Jazz Summit. Kenny Burrell will appear in Tom Dempsey's Giants of Jazz Seminar at the Los Angeles Campus. The National Guitar Workshop is the largest summer music workshop program in the country, with locations in Connecticut, Washington, DC, Chicago, Nashville, Austin, Seattle, San Francisco and Los Angeles. This year's jazz faculty will include Tom Dempsey, Jody Fisher, Freddie Bryant, Kenny Wessel, Ron Oswanski, Tim Ferguson, Jeff Siegel, Mark Dziuba, Carlo DeRosa and Sunny Jain Additional guest artists for 2008 include Paul Gilbert, Vernon Reid, Audley Freed, Lisa Loeb, Sonny Landreth, Laurence Juber and many more. write your comments about the article :: © 2008 Jazz News :: home page |
