Steve Hill at Zaphod Beeblebrox

Zaphod Beeblebrox & Sabbath Sundays presents Quebec Guitar Hero Steve Hill on Sunday, March 9, 2008 at Zaphod Beeblebrox, 27 York Street, Ottawa, Canada. Devil At My Heels, Steve Hill's fourth album is the heaviest, rawest and most powerful music he's ever released. After ten years as a recording artist and fifteen on the stage, Montreal's true guitar hero is at the top of his game.

The album is truly a giant step for the artist. Produced by Steve and Alexis Dufresne, the sound is powerful, the songs are strong and the album is a guitar maniac's dream come true. Five years have passed since his latest, "Domino", and this new release is a giant step for the artist. The sound is powerful, the songs are strong, so are the vocals and the album is a guitar maniac's dream come true. It rocks in a way people haven't been used to lately. A power trio, his band's sound is HUGE. The loudest band to come out of Montreal in years! With machine-like Martin Lavallée on drums and rock solid Rock Laroche on bass and back vocals, Steve Hill will crank up the Marshall stacks all the way up to ten across Canada.

Already a star in his home province of Quebec, Steve Hill ranks among the top blues-based artists in Canada. He has released four successful albums to date and is still receiving praise from critics and nominations from the Real Blues Awards, Maple Blues Awards, ADISQ's Felix and the Juno Awards. Steve got an early start in music, joining his first professional touring band at 16, before starting his own project in 1994. Evolving from a strong blues base, Steve and his band are not afraid to tackle any form of roots music, be it rock, swing or surf. Their high-energy shows are a treat for audiences and continuously generate new and devoted fans. They have toured extensively throughout Canada, France and Belgium over the past few years.
