| Michael White Quintet Selected As A Semi-Finalist in the 2007 ISC The International Song Competition has informed that the songs "Protal III" from "Portal" & "Yolanda" from "This Is Always", both from unreleased albums, have been selected as semi-finallist's songs in the Instrumental category and in the Jazz Category respectively. Michael White Quintet had won the Second Place in the Jazz category with the song "Mechanical Man" from CD "Voices" last year. "What a wonderful surprise !!! We have being selected as a semi-finalist TWO years in a roll. This year is better yet for Two categories Two songs. We pay great respect to ISC, persude for their fairness as to how they judge the songs, strickly by the MUSIC. It means judges are not allow to see any information about Aritsts/Bands. This resonates as to how we make music, let the music speak" - Leisei & Michael of the Michael White Quintet Excerpts from ISC announcement: The 2007 finalists will be selected from the group of semi-finalists and will be announced next week on February 4, 2008. and the list of semi-finalists and finalists will be posted on our website.
