Salty Dogs include legendary trad jazz players Mike Walbridge (tuba, cornet) and Kim Cusack (clarinet, sax) who just released new 2007 Delmark studio recordings with Mike Walbridge's Chicago Footwarners, also featuring Don Stiernberg on banjo and guitar. This is a fascinating new release in that it combines the new 2007 recordings along with 1966/1967 studio recordings from 40 years earlier with the same working nucleus of Walbridge and Cusack!
