| Jazz Impressions I: Monasterios, Egan and Wertico Dogleg Music announced the inaugural release of Jazz Impressions which is a series of expertly recorded live concert performances of master jazz musicians who represent musical royalty by virtue of their history and their devotion to art, technique, and self-expression. The first offering is the reproduction of one memorable evening with Silvano Monasterios, Mark Egan, and Paul Wertico (the latter two, although acclaimed in their own right, are also Grammy-awarded early members of the Pat Metheny Group). This first release is now available at major digital outlets including iTunes and Amazon as well FYE stores in all major markets and is distributed through a special arrangement with Stretch the Skies and TWEC. Dogleg Music is a passionate nurturer of independent musical expression and remains committed to the idea that great songwriting and superior performers are and always will be the authentic communicators of the universal human spirit. The series continues in early 2008 with Larry Coryell, one of the great living masters of the electric guitar. write your comments about the article :: © 2007 Jazz News :: home page |
