Chris Burnett Resigns from Alaadeen Enterprises, Inc.

Musician and composer, Chris Burnett officially resigned his executive and administrative positions associated with Alaadeen Enterprises, Inc. and Fandeen Publishing Company, Inc., both are corporations based out of Kansas City, Missouri. The boards and shareholders of each corporation made this action effective Thursday, November 9, 2007.

Burnett had faithfully contributed to both of these organizations for over 5 years, from November 2002 through November 2007. Burnett had served as the Director of Label Operations for 'ASR Records, a division of Fandeen Publishing Company, Inc. for most of those five years. Primarily, he donated his services gratis, without pay or any other form of compensation, and volunteered countless hours of his personal time and energy toward realizing the recent resurgent successes of these companies.

Due largely to his personal leadership and management experience, combined with his developed expertise in the areas of digital music distribution and Internet Technologies, Burnett was instrumental in eventually finding both, a independent digital distribution deal and an artist-friendly on-demand CD manufacturing deal for 'ASR Records, among numerous other significant accomplishments.

He also wrote and implemented several business plans, while maintaining all of the company websites - all of this while managing his own emerging career as a performing artist. Burnett's promotion and marketing skills also produced tangible results. He also served as a staff writer/arranger for Fandeen Publishing Company, Inc. and wrote several arrangements that were sold to clients as far away as Germany.

Although he says that he will miss the friendships that were developed, Burnett also admits that the time had come to mutually part ways. He further stated: “When I came back home to the Kansas City area, I wanted to contribute to the scene here, not just take from it. And by donating my time and what skills I had developed to contribute to these folks' businesses helped me to do that. I had been given the free-hand from Mr. Alaadeen personally, to build and run the 'ASR label. Overall, the results show that I did a pretty good job and it was a lot of fun for a while. But, most importantly, my only goal and agenda was simply to contribute positively. I think that it is apparent that I indeed did that!”
