| Mark Rapp Stretches Boundaries by A Dying Breed, LLC Jazz writer Joe Montague takes time to interview emerging jazz artist Mark Rapp for JazzPolice.com. Mark Rapp is a young talented trumpet player raised in SC, trained in New Orleans and lives in NYC. Choosen as a "Top Emerging Jazz Trumpeter" by jazz magazine "DownBeat Magazine" and having recently performed with Branford Marsalis at the Southern Exposure Festival, Rapp is gaining a lot of attention fast. Mark's debut record will be mastered by Senior Mastering Engineer Greg Calbi at Sterling Sound. It's produced by Grammy Award winner Jason Olaine and mixed by hip-hop engineer (The Roots, Beyonce) Robert "LB" Dorsey. There is already quite a team behind this record and Rapp says, "It's an honor to have their support. However, it's the music that matters and I can't wait to share it with you."
