| eXalt Entertainment Group Celebrates Return of Jazz Music by Mosnar Communications, Inc eXalt Entertainment Group premiering jazz and spoken word artists nationally. Today announced that the love of jazz music is returning and acquiring new audiences. The company reports that they have seen a resurgence in demand for the art form of jazz music as new rebirth passion in the US and world-wide. Jazz music is considered a fundamental American musical art form that was established roughly in the beginning of the 20th century in chiefly African American communities and around New Orleans. Jazz music instruments were created from marching bands and dance bands instruments. "Appreciation of historical Jazz music had become an elitist love affair. We are excited to see new audiences embracing the art form", Stated Brenda Bradley, eXalt Entertainment Group Owner. "Jazz and spoken word are being viewed as fresh alternatives for new audiences, so the widespread appeal and diversity of our artists is opening many doors. Celebrated eXalt Entertainment Group artists are New Orleans' native daughter, Courtney Bryan (Pianist/Composer/Bandleader) a finalist for the Beyonce Knowles All-Girl Band Birthday Tour. Columbia University's prestigious DMA Composition Faculty Fellowship recipient. Bryan's CD, entitled Quest for Freedom features famous trumpeter and mentor, Marcus Belgrave. Theo Croker (Trumpeter/Composer/Bandleader), grandson of jazz trumpet legend Doc Cheatham. Croker's first album The Fundamentals, independently recorded in New York City, has drawn world-wide response. Theo's quintet is currently playing a premier jazz club in Shanghai, China. Sparrow O'Neal (Poet/Writer/Actor/Director), selected as a finalist and Detroit's host for Russell Simmons Def Poetry Jam tour. O'Neal's current release Musions remains a popular independent release of powerful personal and political commentary. Marcus Belgrave, (Trumpeter/Composer/Arranger/Educator/Recording Artist/Producer) known as a true Renaissance man; professor of music at Oberlin University, co-founder of Jazz Studies Program at The Detroit Metro Arts Complex, and the Jazz Development Workshop.
