New Jersey bluesman, Joe Amato, has just released an outstanding debut solo CD, "The Blues Are Here To Stay". Characterized by Amato's amazing guitar chops and his soulful voice, blues radio stations and music critics have already placed "The Blues Are Here To Stay" on the forefront of new CDs. Amato plays electric and acoustic guitars on the CD and sings all lead vocals.

In addition, he is joined by a great band: Rob Paparozzi (harmonica), Mark Minchello (keyboards and programming), Bob Magnason (sax), Eric Goletz (trombone), Gary Guzio (trumpet), and Mike Hogan (slide guitar).

Recommended cuts from "The Blues Are Here To Stay " include the gritty blues opener "Something Goin' On", the swingin' blues of "Dynamite" and the tender ballad "She's Running Away".

Joe Amato has had a storied musical career. He started singing in the church choir at ten years old. In the early 60s, he was an original member of the Del-Satins, the group that recorded with Dion on hits like "Runaround Sue", "Ruby Baby" and "The Wanderer".

Later in the 60s, Amato joined Joey Dee and the Starlighters. He replaced a young unknown guitar player named Jimi Hendrix. Amato has written many songs for other artists including BB King on the "King Of Blues" CD".
Joe also produced his own radio show on WNNJ playing Doo-Wop and R&B.
He was then invited to join the Las Vegas show, "Legends In Concert", where he performed in that production for 10 years. Later, he replaced one of the Four Aces and performed with them for many years.
