| Community Works Presents Ladies Singing the Blues on Broadway On Tuesday, November 13th, 2007 Community Works in association with New Heritage Theatre Group will present Ladies Singing the Blues On Broadway, the sixth installment of the landmark harlem is… MUSIC – Ladies Singing the Blues concert series. This two part concert event will begin with the soulful sounds of Harlem crooners Ghanniyya Green, Lady Cantrese, and LeeOlive Tucker. Part II will feature an all star tribute to 85-year-old music legend, Rose Marie McCoy. With more than 850 published songs, Rose Marie McCoy is one of the most prolific, but least known songwriters of the 1950's and 60's. R&B Hall-of-Fame inductee Maxine Brown and R&B singer Justine "Baby" Washington promise to bring down the house in tribute to this musical pioneer.
