| Too Slim and the Taildraggers Bring the Blues to Mid-Michigan Too Slim and The Taildraggers will be the concert headliner at Indian Barry's located at 505 E. Midland St. Bay City, MI 48706. Opening for Too Slim and the Taildraggers will be special guests: Scott Baker and the Universal Expressions, Quinn Keon and starting the show at 7:30 pm will be The Thunderchickens. Currently, Seattle WA's Too Slim and the Taildraggers are #9 on the Billboard charts for their top selling Blues album The Fortune Teller. Mixing Blues and a down home Dirty Rock style, Seattle's Too Slim and the Taildraggers offer a “must see” experience Too Slim and the Taildraggers have shared the stage with the likes of Bo Diddley, Brian Setzer, Johnny Lang, .38 Special, Robert Cray, Otis Rush, Jeff Healey, Ted Nugent, Los Lobos, Lonnie Mack, Blue Oyster Cult, Heart, Travis Tritt, Junior Brown, Gatemouth Brown, Neil McCoy, Delbert McClinton, Blues Travelers,Steppenwolf, Johnny and Edgar Winter. Opening for Too Slim and the Taildraggers will be Scott Baker and the Universal Expressions. Baker has been the recipient of a handful of Review Awards since 2002, including 2005's Blues Artist Deserving Wider Recognition. He was nominated again for Blues Songwriter of The Year for the 2006 Review Awards. Along with the Universal Expressions, the group was nominated for 11 awards in 2007. The Universal Expressions won Band of the Year and Band Deserving Wider Recognition in the blues rock category in 2007. Also playing will be guitar aficionado Quinn Keon who will bring his blue collar, straight ahead Rock and Roll to the stage. Keon was recently featured on Z93's (WKQZ) Backyard Buzz and his second album, Second Attempt...Failure, is gaining increased recognition within the rock community. If you like Ted Nugent, you'll love Quinn Keon. Starting off the night will be the very popular band from Saginaw, the Thunderchickens. Their song, Belladonna, was most recently heard on Z93's Backyard buzz Friday September 21st. They offer a dynamic and powerful sound that will catapult your senses into overdrive when the Harmonica and Violin are added into the mix.
