| Reverend Zen In The 2007 Unisong International Song Contest The New York rock/jazz/R&B group Reverend Zen has just received two Finalist Awards in the 2007 Unisong International Song Contest for their songs "Magdalena" (Lyric Category) and "Bad Attitude" (Blues Category). Both "Magdalena" and "Bad Attitude" are from Reverend Zen's debut cd Angels, Blues & the Crying Moon. The album has brought the band twenty nine song writing and performance awards from the Unisong Contest, the Billboard World Song Contest, the Mid Atlantic Song Contest and the UK's Singer-Songwriter Awards. In the 2006 VH1 Song of the Year Contest, the group received three Runner Up Awards for their songs "Magdalena", "Don't Try To Tell Me" and "The Boston Shakedown", with a Finalist Award going to their song "Dangerous Times" (AC/AAA Category).
