Jeff Findl & The Acoustic Accomplices Release New Album

'Jeff Findl and the Acoustic Accomplices' is a group of eight Los Angeles area musicians that recorded 21 original songs featuring the nylon-string guitar, piano, and other orchestral accompaniment. Their upbeat instrumental compositions showcase outstanding musicianship that fills the musical space with melodic grooves of cheerfulness and creativity.

This musical group is a studio-created band brought together by Los Angeles record producer Ronan Chris Murphy (known for his past work with King Crimson) to record the guitar-based compositions of Jeff Findl.

Guitarist Jeff Findl was a past Instrumental Artist of the Year at the Los Angeles Music Awards. The producer handpicked all the talented musicians invited to play at the recording sessions. These musicians each added their particular specialty to the mix. The elegant keyboards are performed by Giovanna Imbesi who has toured with the likes of Yanni and Andy Summers of the Police. The group also includes creative bassist Ian Sheridan who recently returned from a world tour with Jason Mraz. Drummer Victor Bisetti was a long time percussionist for the popular band, Los Lobos. In his touring days, pedal steel guitarist Dave Pearlman played with Dan Fogelberg's band.

In 2004, Jeff Findl's solo debut album titled "Somebody Got Happy Fingers" rose to No 5 on the New Age Reporter airplay chart. After recording a dozen new songs for the new album and really liking the results, Jeff Findl didn't stop there. He elected to take another crack at his previous album compositions. Equipped with a healthy budget, a new guitar, his new producer / studio, and talented guest musicians, Jeff Findl re-composed and re-recorded eleven former songs. The new 21-song CD includes completely new songs along with fresh approaches to former recordings. The album title, 'Beach Buzz Instrumentals', expresses the enchanting appreciation one feels living in a quaint beach town such as Seal Beach, California amid the peaceful sights and sounds of the seacoast. Hopefully, some of those beach buzz appreciations are conveyed through the music.

This music blends very melodic acoustic guitar playing with beautifully supported orchestration. It's emotionally uplifting music with a cool groove, and the occasional surprise left turn.
