| Benefit Show for the Detroit Blues Societ Memphis Smoke and the Detroit Blues Society are proud to announce that they will be hosting a benefit show on Friday, October 19th featuring multiple Blues Music Award Nominee and Intrepid Artists performer, Watermelon Slim and the Workers. The show will begin at 9 pm and is a benefit for the Detroit Blues Society and its many programs, including the Kids Affected By Cancer Guitar Program with Music Mentors, Gilda's Club, Latino Family Services, and Children's Hospital of Michigan. Slim will take the stage at approximately 10:30 pm, but additional special musical guests, from Annie C. Oakley Management Company in Nashville, Bart Walker from Nashville and Christy Howard from Detroit.
