New Independent Music Label

Gold Entertainment Group, Inc. in collaboration with Mack-Ace Promotions and Reggae.com, announced the official launch of World Riddim International Music, a new independent music label. World Riddim International Music will have an initial focus on the reggae music genre but will pursue artists and projects from the broader spectrum of World Music with the fusion of musical styles generated by different cultures and musical traditions around the world.

"Reggae Music is a style that grew out of a combination of African rhythms, American Rock, Blues and R&B and local influences in the Caribbean. There is an exciting fusion of musical styles going on worldwide. With a foundation in Reggae Music we are very excited to be part of WRIM's development and promotion of the great music created by the blending of musical traditions from around the world" said John Brodie, founder of REGGAE.com. The global music market is currently estimated to be between $40 and $48 billion. Industry reports differ in the exact amount of sales, but it is believed that 30% of that global music market belongs to independent labels, which equates to approximately $12 to $16 billion in annual sales. Independent music labels now account for more than 900 million units sold each year.

"I am thrilled about the creation of World Riddim International Music and its potential to revolutionize the independent music industry. WRIM has the potential to really shake things up in the indie music genre", stated Luther McKenzie, President of Mack-Ace Promotions. "The launch of World Riddim International Music is the culmination of months of hard work by Gold Entertainment, Reggae.com and Mack-Ace Promotions. We feel that our combined years of experience will grant us a considerable advantage over any competitor and make us an industry leader", stated Brian Stetten, President and CEO of Gold Entertainment Group, Inc.
