Arlo Guthrie Fall Tour

Currently on his Solo Reunion Tour – Together At Last, Arlo Guthrie, the son of legendary singer/writer Woody Guthrie, and Arlo's wife, Jackie, along with their children and grandchildren, will be featured in Vanity Fair's November 2007 issue. Fourteen Guthries were photographed by Annie Leibovitz for Vanity Fair's folk music portfolio which hits the stands mid October. The seventh Guthrie grandchild, Sophia, born to Sarah Lee Guthrie and Johnny Irion Aug. 9, is just a suggestion but already behind the guitar.

This July, Rolling Stone Magazine declared Arlo's Alice's Restaurant one of "The Essential Albums of 1967." They said, "No one captured hippie politics better than Woody's twenty-year-old son." In August, Arlo was featured around the world in The International Herald Tribune as a spokesperson of our times as the 40th anniversary of the era of the Summer of Love and the '60's culture arrives.

Arlo Guthrie's latest CD, In Times Like These (Rising Son #1126), debuted at #2 across the country on the three Folk DJ-L Charts - CD, Artist and Song ("In Times Like These".) It quickly surpassed the "Best of" collection at Amazon.com, which gives it a five star rating.
