| Opera in the Vineyards and Viva the duo at Wyndham Estate "Opera in the Vineyards" will be held at the historic Wyndham Estate Winery, Hunter Valley on the 20th October. The event features the fabulous Opera singers: Teddy Tahu Rhodes and Amelia Farrugia, they will be performing arias and duets including: Bohème, Lakmé, Carmen, The Pearl Fishers and Don Giovanni. Niki Vasilakis, one of Australia's great and exciting Violinists will also be featured. Peppers Moonah Links Resort, will host a special gala concert accompanied by piano in a grand opera marquee and Wyndham Estate will present a concert with full orchestra in a magnificent open-air amphitheatre on the banks of the Hunter River. with musical direction provided by one of Australia's finest musical directors, Andrew Greene. The event will be adopting the nom de plume "Ah la belle Paris!" and to provide some appropriate "French ambiance, " a popular Sydney duo of musette accordion/bass and Spanish guitar, Viva the duo will be performing at intervals throughout the day, commencing at 2.00am until 4.00pm at the entry gates and from 5.00pm at the Food and Wine fair preceding the presentation of the Opera at 6.00pm. Viva the duo are well known on the Sydney music scene and regularly perform at music festivals, themed and community events.
