| Jane Ira Bloom at City Center Fall Announcing the world premiere of “The 5th Wheel”, dancer and choreographer Carmen deLavallade's and saxophonist and composer Jane Ira Bloom's new collaborative work performed on Friday, September 28, at NY City Center Fall for Dance Festival. “The 5th Wheel” is the latest piece in a continuing collaboration between legendary dancer/ choreographer Carmen deLavallade and innovative saxophonist/composer Jane Ira Bloom. It explores the spatial and sonic relationships between a dancer on wheels and a jazz quartet with one musician on the loose.
