John Fogerty's new video

John Fogerty's new video, "Don't You Wish It Was True" is a four minute slice of American life filled with hope and optimism. The song is the first single from his new album 'Revival, ' out October 2 on Fantasy Records. Filled with images of innocence, beauty and children at play, the video and the song reflect Fogerty's wish for a better tomorrow.

"Don't You Wish It Was True" has a special quality that makes it instantly familiar while being so obviously fresh and new. Musically, Fogerty places the song alongside his own classic, "Proud Mary."

'Revival' is Fogerty's first album of new material on Fantasy, and represents a renewed musical spirit and heart. Standout tracks include "Gunslinger, " with it's cinematic western-theme evoking vintage-era Creedence Clearwater Revival, and the deliciously swampy "Creedence Song, " where Fogerty correctly and humorously concludes, "You can't go wrong, if you play a little bit of that Creedence song." Many of Fogerty's musical influences are apparent on 'Revival', including the gospel influenced "River Is Waiting" and the deeply personal country flavored "Broken Down Cowboy." Fogerty also weighs in on the current administration with the rollicking, biting "Long Dark Night."
