| Billie Holiday Live At Monterey1958 On September 15, 2007 at Wave Street Studios, Monterey, CA there will be a CD release party of Billie Holiday Live at Monterey 1958 featuring live music and catering. Black-Hawk Records, Inc. would like to extend an invitation to all Billie Holiday and Jazz fans alike. This will be a great opportunity to see what Black-Hawk Records, Inc. has in store for the future. Just a week later, Monterey will be hosting the 50th Anniversary of the Monterey Jazz Festival on September 21-23, 2007. Black-Hawk has an extensive inventory and has been the home to such recordings as: Abdullah Ibrahim's Ekaya, Maynard Ferguson's Body And Soul, and Dizzy Gillespie's Enduring Magic. Rhett Smith and the other people working at Monterey's Wave Street Studios project have pulled off a miraculous transformation of a historic property into a state-of-the-art performance facility.
