| John Patitucci Trio at the Iridium  This Week, August 22-26, John Patitucci Trio with Steve Cardenas, Antonio Sanchez will play at the Iridium. One of jazz's most visible bassists, John Patitucci got his professional start in the early 1980ss as a sideman with heavyweights such as Stan Getz and Freddie Hubbard. His first taste of international acclaim came with Chic Corea's Electric Band in 1985 and then, Corea's Akoustic Band.
