Buddy Guy & Little Richard To Headline Long Beach Blues Festival

KKJZ 88.1 FM announced the return of the 28th Annual Long Beach Blues Festival, scheduled for September 1 & 2, 2007. LBBF is often considered the Grandaddy of the West Coast music festivals ... as the roster of past performers is a virtual history of American Music!

This year, Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame inductees Buddy Guy & Little Richard will anchor the stellar line-up, which also includes Dr. John, Robert Cray Band, Taj Mahal (reunited with the Phantom Blues Band), The Jimmy Reed Highway (Jimmie Vaughan, Kim Wilson, Omar Kent Dykes and Lou Ann Barton), Koko Taylor and Her Blues Machine, Irma Thomas and many others.

The Juke Joint Stage, a new addition for 2007, is a shaded venue where fans can experience intimate blues performances and acoustic sets. Confirmed artists: Harry Manx & Kevin Breit (from Canada), Jackie Payne/Steve Edmonson Band, The Honeydripper Allstars and The Delgado Brothers.
