| Silard Somorjay DVDs Two Silard Somorjay's live performances, Silard In Concert, 2002 and Live at the Beverly Hills Wilshire Theatre, 2007 are now available on DVD. Silard Somorjay was born in Budapest, Hungary into a musical family. He started playing the piano at the age of six, taught by his grandmother who was also a famous piano artist. By the time he was 14 he was composing his own music. He continued his music studies and nearly ten years later graduated from the Russian Academy of Piano in 1989. He's a composer and performer and has and continues to tour and give concerts all around the globe including Europe, Asia and the U.S. What makes Somorjay's music so unique, is his ability to combine so exquisitely, Classical Music and Jazz.
