| Bowery Poetry Club Presents Frankie P. and the Cats and Jammers Bowery Poetry Club Presents Frankie P. and the Cats and Jammers, a 17 piece Big Band directed by Frank Perowsky featuring Ben Perowsky on drums and Terri White on vocals. Frank Perowsky, a professional musician for over 50 years, Juilliard graduate, '58, saxophone-clarinet-flute player, composer/arranger will debut his big band Sunday July 29th. Following his graduation from Juilliard as a clarinet major Frank toured with the big bands of Lee Castle, Woody Herman, Les and Larry Elgart, and recorded and performed with Tito Rodriquez and Johnny Richards. He began writing in the late 60s for Bill Watrous and subsequently arranged for Buddy Rich and Billy Taylor.
