| Wayne Wonder's 'Foreva' VP Records just announced that it will release international dancehall reggae superstar Wayne Wonder's upcoming LP 'Foreva' on September 25th. The 17 track LP features the singles "Again" and "I Still Believe." 'Foreva' also boasts impressive collaborations with world renowned dancehall producers Don Corleone and Tony Kelly (Sean Paul, Elephant Man). While other dancehall artists are known for their rapping style, Wayne Wonder's claim to fame is his unparalleled, velvety smooth singing voice -- which he layers effortlessly over electrifying beats and intoxicating music riddims. "Again" is poised to be a smash hit this summer and 'Foreva' the soundtrack of the fall 2007. Performing and recording for over 15 years, Wayne Wonder is synonymous with worldwide dancehall reggae chart-toppers and mega hits. 'Foreva' is the highly anticipated follow up to 2003's smash success 'No Holding Back' (Atlantic Records) which garnered worldwide acclaim with a peak position at #29 on the Billboard Top 200, a Grammy nomination for Best Reggae Album, and the now famous solo television performance splitting the bill with Sean Paul on 'Saturday Night Live'. Currently being serviced in core markets and abroad, the video for "Again" was directed by Jay Will (Shaggy, Beenie Man) and produced by Game Over Films. Shot in and around Wayne Wonder's native Kingston, Jamaica the video narrates a bittersweet love story between a remorseful singer and his beloved. write your comments about the article :: © 2007 Jazz News :: home page |
