| Saco Yasuma at Cornelia Street Cafe  Saco Yasuma will celebrate the release of her new CD Another Rain (Leaf Note Productions) on Monday, July 30 at the Cornelia Street Cafe, NYC, New York. Saco Yasuma -alto Sax & Xaphoon (Bamboo Sax) will play with Roy Campbell Jr.(trumpet), Andrew Bemkey (piano, bass clarinet), Michael T.A. Thompson (soundrhythium percussion), Bassist and Special Guests are T.B.A. The street date is June 26, 2007. Thompson-Soundrhythium Percussion, Golda Solomon-Words.Avant garde lady sax player can play like she's one of the big boys, and we mean that in a good way. Very reminiscent of the 60's free jazz dates that sounded like some cats really hitting a groove in a basement studio, Yasuma has really honed her chops well.
