Stan Rose: ’Bigfoot Lives!’

Stan Rose of Alien Guitar Abduction has released a follow-up album to the 2006 debut, "Eureka!!". This new CD is entitled "Bigfoot Lives!", and consists of 16 original instrumental guitar compositions, integrating diverse styles from jazz, shred, the blues, and techno into a unique vision of the future of electric guitar.

Following the successful release of the 2006 debut album, "Eureka!!", Stan Rose of Alien Guitar Abduction has now released a new collection of eclectic guitar tunes, entitled "Bigfoot Lives!"

The title refers to Rose's fascination with all things paranormal, including his approach to playing the guitar. 50% of the profits from the CD will be used to help preserve the endangered forests where Bigfoot is said to inhabit.

Rose has been playing the guitar for over twenty years, and has a background in classical guitar as well as progressive rock. He is a former student of acclaimed guitarist John Petrucci of Dream Theatre. "Eureka!!" received favorable reviews, and several tracks were praised for their originality and in-your-face style. The new album breaks new ground by adding the high-tech Axon guitar synthesizer to Rose's repetoire. Even some of the drum tracks on the new CD were played on guitar!

"Bigfoot Lives!" is sure to turn some heads as it introduces a daring new approach, merging diverse styles of music ranging from experimental jazz to classical-based hard rock, all in the interest of presenting a unique vision of the future of instrumental music.
