Melinda Schneider in Nashville

Melinda Schneider, popular Australian country music artist, will tour to Nashville, Tennessee for the Fanfair music festival to be held in June 2007. Known as Music City, Nashville is where Elvis Presley and The Everly Brothers to name just a few, made it big! Every year fans flock here to celebrate the best of country music with a four-day Festival of non-stop music. Stages are set up in Riverfront Park and the Coliseum Football Stadium. Tour members will have a chance to meet the stars, visit special exhibits and to join in autograph signings.

The tour departs Sydney on 01 June for Los Angeles with a day of optional tours of the city before flying to Memphis. Here we trace the steps and origins of Country, Blues, Gospel and Bluegrass music. Sightseeing includes a tour of Graceland, the home of Elvis Presley, the Sun Studio Museum where Elvis was first discovered and the Stax Museum for a taste of the Soul Music revolution of the 60's - all just to get you in the mood!

The next four days in Nashville are full of Festival fun with concerts at the Ryman Auditorium, home of the famous Grand Ole Opry, Riverfront Park, the Coliseum Football Stadium, and a visit to the County Music Hall of Fame. Nowhere else can you see over 30 top country music artists during four fabulous days and nights. On the final day in Nashville, the group travels to Lynchburg, the home of Jack Daniels for a tour of the distillery to learn what makes its whisky unique.
