| The New York Scandia Symphony Orchestra Live at Trinity Church,  New York Scandia Symphony Orchestra conducted by Dorrit Matson will perform on Thursday, June 7, 2007 at Trinity Church (Broadway and Wall Street). Now in its fourteenth season, New York Scandia Symphony, an exceptional regional orchestra, has delighted New York listeners with its warm and vibrant tone, a lovely clarity of expressive detail and interesting and exciting programs. It has a valuable mission as well: a commitment to presenting imaginative and creative programs of music by Classical, Romantic and Contemporary Scandinavian composers, introducing previously unknown and seldom performed compositions to American audiences.With 90% of its repertoire presented as US premieres, the orchestra revives and preserves the work of Scandinavian composers, which would otherwise not have been brought to the attention of the public. Concerts at One series is glad to conclude another successful and inspiring season with a performance by the "house band".
