Greg Parman and His All-Star Band at the OC Pavilion

Greg Parman brings an evening of Smooth Jazz with his All-Star Band to the main stage of the OC Pavilion performing arts center, located in the heart of the Santa Ana arts district. The show will be held July 21, 2007.

Seattle-native Greg Parman is a professional saxophone and flute player. Greg has worked with One Nation (Global Funk), Mark Massey (pianist), the Ron Kobayashi Trio, Luis Villegas (Latin guitarist), Little Bill and the Blue Notes and Merrilee Rush (”Angel of the Morning”). Greg performed on the One Nation album that was honored with the Orange County Music Award in 2004 for Best Latin - Contemporary. He also was featured on Chris Williams' album premoderism that was honored with the 2007 Orange County Music Award for Best Latin for the Latin jazz rendition of “Comes Love”. In addition, he is featured on recordings with Rick Waldren. Greg has also performed at the Brea Riviera Village Jazz Festivals.

Greg Parman has been referred to as one of Orange County's best kept jazz secrets. His “voice” on alto, tenor, and soprano saxophones taps into many styles of music including jazz, smooth Jazz, Latin, r&b, and blues.
