Trefoil at Trinity

Trefoil (Drew Minter, countertenor, harp and percussion; Mark Rimple, countertenor, lute, harp and psaltery; Marcia Young, soprano and harps) will perform on Thursday, May 31st, 2007 at Trinity Church (Broadway and Wall Street), NYC. Trefoil is a trio of singer-instrumentalists long active in early music. The trio debuted in New York and Philadelphia early in 2000 with a program of 14th-century French ars subtilior songs. The Philadelphia Inquirer tagged the performers as "a hearty trio of medieval music specialists" and their work as "an intricate, enigmatic vocal art."

The trio has made joint appearances with Piffaro, the Renaissance Band in Philadelphia, the Folger Concert in Washington, D.C. and The Newberry Consort in Chicago, Illinois. Trefoil's performance will be the last show of May so make sure to come and watch as the concert season is drawing to a close.
