European Latin Jazz on the uprise in the US

by World Fusion Music

That Panchito's debut album "Resurrección" would be played on more than 55 radio stations in the USA within a year after it's release surprised even the 10 members of this Dutch Latin Jazz group. Also the special around Panchito in the New York Jazz Mix show "The Groove Boutique" and the upcoming review in Latin the beat magazine are an unexpected honour!

Panchito's album "Resurrección" is heared on more than 85 radio stations worldwide Their cd already received a considerable range of fantastic reviews but it didn't stop there. After a while an overwhelming range of reactions poured in and it didn't take too long before the first tracks were played on several radio stations in Canada and the US.

A Dutch magazine wrote: "when they will hear this in New York, they'll accept it directly!" It seems to be a prophecy because accepted it was! This became even more obvious when a number of songs were played in New Yorks radio show "The Groove Boutique" hosted by Rafe Gomez. The groove boutique is the first American jazz mix show and is aired on twenty stations nation wide!

Rafe about Panchito: "Pachito combines all of my favorite musical elements in one amazing package: powerful performances, pristine production, boundless energy, original arrangements, and phat Latin rhythms. The result is a sound that's so joyous, so strong, and so irresistible, I actually look forward to the room's reaction when I spin their tracks in a club - it's always euphoric! Pachito's songs are hip enough for the most discriminating NYC nightclubbers yet commercial enough for national radio play on my syndicated American jazz mix show "The Groove Boutique". Muy sabroso, muy caliente, muy increíble - amo Panchito!!!"

Within a year after it's release the album "Resurrección" is played on over eighty-five stations worldwide, from Australia to Canada, with a vast majority in the US and Canada whom add up to about 55 stations. Also there will appear an article concerning this Dutch Latin jazz group in the worldwide respected Latin beat magazine. The article in question will appear in June/July issue of 2007.
