| Ludovic Beier at Jazz Standard On Tuesday, May 15, French button accordion virtuoso Ludovic Beier will appear for one night only at NYC's Jazz Standard with a number of special guest artists. Beier is best known to American audiences as one of the star instrumentalists of the Django Reinhardt Festival. At 28, Ludovic is a veteran of the European and US festival circuit including appearances at Ravinia in Chicago, Disney Hall in LA, The San Francisco Festival, The Kennedy Center, Caramoor, and more. His recordings include Come Into My Swing (Harmonia Mundi), a scintillating set of gypsy jazz recorded in collaboration with legendary guitarist Angelo Debarre. His appearance at The Jazz Standard will include Special Guests - Romero Lubambo (guitar), Joel Frahm (sax), Edmar Castaneda (jazz harp), Dominick Farinacci (trumpet), and vocalist - Hilary Kole. On piano will be Ted Firth and on bass Paul Gill. This will be one night only at The Jazz Standard.
