As the term "indie" is defined as "independence from commercial pop music and mainstream culture and an autonomous, do-it-yourself (DIY) approach", new blues indie artist "MDR" has successfully written, recorded, and self-produced a simple yet catchy blues album titled "Oscar in the Drink." His "stay true to the blues" philosophy has clearly contributed to the album's climb to the top.
