| Peter Bernstein at Liu's Brooklyn Campus Jazz guitarist Peter Bernstein, will perform as part of Long Island University's Jazz Clinic Series at Liu's Brooklyn Campus This Tuesday, March 27th. The series features musicians and music professionals with extraordinary links to jazz history in addition to being outstanding in their own right. Peter Bernstein, since moving to New York in 1989, has already appeared on over 60 CD recordings, including five as leader on the Criss Cross record label. A former student of guitar legend Jim Hall, Mr. Berstein has appeared with John Scolfield, Lou Donaldson, Brad Mehldau, Pat Metheny and Diana Krall. Peter has been recognized in both the readers' and critics' polls in Downbeat Magazine for the past three years.
